The research article by Yuki Nakamura et al. published recently in JGR: Space Physics, “Effect of meteoric ions on ionospheric conductance at Jupiter”, was selected for featuring as an Editor’s Highlight.

A research team consisting of researchers from Tohoku University, Sorbonne University, JAXA, University of Tokyo, Kyushu University, Johns Hopkins University, Tokyo University of Science, Tohoku Institute of Technology, and NICT has evaluated the effects of interplanetary dust origin ions on the ionospheric conductivity of Jupiter, and their results were published in the Journal of Geophysical Research (Space Physics) by AGU. The research results of this paper were highly acclaimed and selected as a highlight paper.
Fewer than 2 per cent of papers are selected to be featured in this way.
