I am interested in what kind of organisms were active and what kind of Earth’s surface environment was spread in the old age of 3.5 to 2.7 billion years ago. In particular, we are conducting research and analysis to clarify the biota, marine environment, and elemental cycling from the biological traces in the banded iron formation, which is a unique formation in those days.
