We are planning a field trip to Taiwan this academic year.
We will hold an information session as follows.

● Venue: Room 203, Science Complex A, Graduate School of Science
● Target: 1st to 4th grade undergraduate students (in the fields of Earth Sciences and Geophysics), Graduate students (Department of Earth Science, Department of Geophysics)
*1) Undergraduate and graduate students from the Graduate School of Environmental Studies belonging to laboratories in research fields closely related to earth sciences with the main objective of understanding the earth and the environment itself and 2) the undergraduate and graduate students from the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Graduate School of Life Sciences, Graduate School of Information Sciences and Graduate School of Engineering belonging to laboratories in research fields aimed to understand marine ecosystem changes are also eligible to participate.
● Purpose · Contents:
This field study is conducted under the support of the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) and GP-EES with the aim of bringing a global perspective to undergraduate and graduate students and letting them touch advanced researches. This academic year, we plan to go to Taiwan and study geology, geomorphology, atmospheric and oceanic sciences, etc. The final participants are required to participate in this information session and the following sessions scheduled in the future. Students who have the possibility to join the trip, please be sure to participate in the information sessions.
