International Cooperation

The field of earth and environmental sciences at Tohoku University comprises three research groups: Solid Earth Research Group, Global Environment Research Group, and Planetary Evolution Research Group. These groups cooperate together in conducting research and education. In addition, we have concluded agreements on international joint supervision for doctoral students with related departments of world-leading overseas universities and research institutions as shown in the map below (some are in preparation).
