Based on his experience at JAPEX, Dr. Takahashi will instruct us on the principles of reflection seismology and the basic flow of data acquisition, data processing and interpretation through lectures and workshops. He will also explain not only about petroleum exploration but also the actual examples in geological structure delineation toward the earthquake disaster mitigation and in monitoring of the CO2 injection in CCS(Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage).
